City approves first major project; a new bandshell!

The City of Excelsior is moving forward with the design phase for a new bandshell. A design committee has been appointed and includes representatives from the City's Park Commission, Heritage Preservation Commission and Community for The Commons.  Funds for the new structure will come from revenues from the resident docks as well as fundraising efforts by Community for The Commons. The Excelsior Lake Minnetonka Rotary will continue to operate the summer Concerts in The Commons series with a portion of the funds raised going to reduce the City's share of the project.
